Site Manager
Duties


The Site Manager will prepare work schedules budgeting time required for the project and monitor progress to ensure completion according to criteria, quality and cost. He/she will maintain a site diary and ensure delivery and use of materials, tools and equipment and sub-contractor scope of work. The Site Manager will also prepare the construction site including the sourcing of material, human resources including sub contractors and installation of temporary site offices with appropriate conveniences.

Requirements

  • Should be qualified to at least the diploma level, with at least 5 years related experience or have come up through the ranks of the construction profession with ten years experience
  • Must have a good understanding of construction methods, materials, scheduling and blueprint reading
  • Knowledge of Autocad, Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Project is also vitally necessary
